Description:
The LG LDS5040ST has the quite-uncommon Upper Only wash option, allowing users to wash a half-load using only the top rack, and it works with the Smart Diagnosis app, LG's take on troubleshooting the dishwasher's problems over the phone and minimizing the need for service calls. That being said, it also houses the familiar Direct Drive motor, which LG says is 30% more efficient than Energy Star standards, due to its fewer moving parts and belt-less build.
