Fascinating Toasters: When 2 Slices Is Not Enough And 4 Is Too Much
The options are low, put aside a switch to toast only two slices if you prefer, but that's about it. More surprising is Dualit's bewildering silence on why exactly three slots? Is it by popular demand or because some scientist found out that the average consumer needs exactly three toasts? We're abash.
There is the slogan "When three's not a crowd," but we'd expect some marketing lingo aimed at brainwashing us that four is too much and two is not enough, yet: Nothing. They just make it sit there along with their 2-slice and 4-slice models, ostensibly in the hope that someone will find it and burst in enthusiasm: "Honey! Finally the 3-slice toaster we've been looking for!"
