Description:
Just how basic can an entry-level tablet go? The Alcatel Pixi 7 I212 has ridiculously low specs we never thought we'd see in a tablet: 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, 960- x 540-pixel display, and VGA (0.3MP) front and back cameras. It is probably better off as a TV companion, due to its embedded IR blaster and Miracast support, than as a standalone tablet. Interestingly, this device sports what Alcatel calls a triple-core processor (not the usual dual-core or quad-core variants), which does not seem to have a name that's worth mentioning anyway.
Also known as: Alcatel I212.
