Description:
This tablet is an improved version of the 2014-released Lenovo Tab A8, but we expected to see more of the same specs, mainly because it has about the same price tag as its predecessor. The big difference, however, is that the Tab 2 A8 comes with a 4G LTE Cat4 modem that allows it to make voice calls and send SMS, like a regular phone, as well as access the internet via cellular networks. Additionally, the Tab 2 A8 ships with Android 5.0 and Dolby Atmos touting more life-like sound for movies and games. As with the previous model, this tablet runs on the same 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and sports the same 1280- x 800-pixel IPS display. It is not an impressive device, judging by 2015 standards, but its sub-$200 price makes it a tempting option for some users.
