Description:
Like its predecessor, the Ellipsis 8 is not fated to dominate the headlines and it may have a hard time finding buyers interested in what turns out to be an expensive mid-sized tablet with low-end specs. In its favor, this 8-inch tablet sports a SIM card slot which provides access to Verizon's XLTE network (According to Verizon, XLTE offers twice the bandwidth of 4G LTE in selected locations, particularly in cities). With full 4G phone capability, this tablet can also make calls, send text messages, and perform other essential phone functions, on top of a 5000mAh battery that claims a respectable 14.5 hours of continuous usage between charges. Unfortunately, the rest of its specs are not as flattering, including a low-resolution (1280 x 800 pixels) LCD screen, 16GB memory, 5MP camera, and an unnamed processor with 1GB RAM.
