Description:
The Xiaomi Mi Pad is not a budget device, but considering its many high-end features, it is definitely one of the cheapest top-of-line tablets on the market. On top of the specs list is a console-class Tegra K1 processor accompanied by a 2GB RAM, making this tablet the first to feature NVIDIA's famous gaming chip. Additionally, heavy gamers and multimedia enthusiasts might also be interested to know that the Mi Pad uses the same 192-core Kepler graphic processor found in many high-end gaming PCs. Its 7.9-inch IPS screen flaunts a 2048- x 1536-pixel resolution that matches Apple's Retina display. Storage options are 16GB and 64GB, backed by a microSD slot that accepts up to 128GB of extra storage. The 6700mAh battery that powers this device promises up to 16 hours of continuous video playback, which looks adequate for most users. One issue we have with this device is its plastic exterior which, despite its cheerful candy-colored themes, makes it look rather cheap.
